Hint: Combos: If you have Groudon, teach him Solarbeam. His ability will allow you to use Solarbeam without charging it first. If you have Kyogre, teach him Thunder. His ability will allow you to use Thunder without it ever missing its target. It will also be more powerful. Note: These tactics are no good when fighting Rayquaza,as his "Airlock" ability will negate all weather effects.

Hint: Weaknesses: Every Pokemon has at least one weakness. It is helpful if you know the weakness of all types ofPokemon if you want to win easier. The following is a list of weaknesses for each type. Attacking Pokemon (on the left). However, some aretricky. For example, Kingdra has one weakness, Dragon. Although some Pokemon like Sabyleye and Spiritomb ( Pokemon Diamond/Pearl ) may be Ghost and Dark type, they both still have one weakness, Fighting. However, because they are part Ghost, the only way to lay a punch on it is to use Foresight with a Machoke or a Hairyama (which makes all normal and fighting attacks effective against Ghosts regularly effective), and then using a Fighting type move to be extra effective. This is because Fighting is strong against Dark. Note: Foresight is not the only move that has this ability. Odor Sleuth is another move that works.

Hint: Baton Passers: To pass on Attack: Ninjask with Swords Dance (this is also good for speed). To pass on Defense: Mr. Mime with Barrier. To pass on Speed: Ninjask (recommended) or Girafarigwith Agility (Ninjask also has Speed Boost trait). To pass on Special Defense: Gorebyss with Amnesia. To pass on Special Attack: There are no moves that sharply increase Sp. Atk, so your best chance would be an Espeon with Calm Mind (this also increases Special Defense). Note: If you pass on Speed, in rain, to a Pokemon with the Swift Swim trait, or a Pokemon with Chlorophyll in Sun, their speed willbe increased even more.
