Now, there is a pink colour house known as 'Trick House', which is managed by a bald person known as 'Trick Master'. Inside this house, there are eight different puzzle which gives you eight special gifts. You should complete all these puzzles to get the things below:- 1. 1st Puzzle: Rare Candy 2. 2nd Puzzle: Timer Ball 3. 3rd Puzzle: Hard Stone 4. 4th Puzzle: Smoke Ball 5. 5th Puzzle: TM 12 - Taunt 6. 6th Puzzle: Magnet 7. 7th Puzzle: PP Max 8. 8th Puzzle: Blue Tent Now, go towards west on 'Route 103'. There is nothing much to do here except battling trainer & wild pokemons. Get some 'Itemballs/Berries' there and come back on 'Route 110' to continue.
'Battle with Rival'
When you come to a narrow strip of land surrounded by water on both sides, you'll meet your rival. She's very strong, so prepare yourself with some strong pokemon. 'Mauville City - The City of Third Gym' As you enter the city, the first thing you should do is get yourself a 'Bike'. To get the 'Bike', go to the right of the 'Pokemon Centre'. Talk to the man. There are two bikes. 'Mach Bike' is good for speed and 'Acro Bike' is good for tricks. To learn more about them, you should read the manual above the screen. As you select one of these 'bikes' you can switch them anytime. Just talk to the person and he will switch your 'Bike'. Now you able to move faster than what when you use your 'Running Shoes'. Now you are able to go through 'Seaside Cycling Road'. Talk to the man in house to left of the 'Mart'. He will give you essential move " HM-06 'ROCK SMASH' ". But you will not be able to use this move, as it require the third gym badge.
'Game Corner'
'Mauville City' has a 'Game Corner' to play slot machines, but you'll need to get a 'Coin Case'. Make sure you get a 'Harbor Mail', and talk to the girl in the house near the 'Game Corner'. She'll give you the 'Coin Case' for the 'Harbor Mail'. Now you can go into the 'Game Corner' to bet! The slot machines are quite exciting. You can either insert one, two, or three coins. You get coins for matching three of the same kind either horizontally, diagonally, or both. There are two roulette tables here: one with the minimum wager of one coin, and the other, three coins. On both screens, you'll be shown a screen with a four times three box. Each row has four Pokemon ('Wynaut', 'Azurill', 'Skitty', and 'Makuhita') with three colors (orange, green, and purple). Betting on a single box will give you 12X the bet amount, a whole row would give you 3X the bet amount, and a vertical line will give you 4X the bet amount.
'Mauville Gym: Electric Gym The 'Mauville Gym' has to people in front of it, one of them blocking the way inside the gym. He is 'Wally'. He is horribly weak. He has one lvl.16 pokemon. After you beat him, the two of them will leave and you are free to go inside the gym. This is an electric gym, so be prepared with some anti-electric Pokemon. There are four trainers waiting to shock you, but show them that a little shock can't hurt a humble Pokemon Trainer like you. The electricity wall is nothing to worry about. Simply step on the lightning bolts, and the walls will move to different places to let you through. Watson is the gym leader. He uses lvl.22 'Magnemite', which is part 'electric' and part 'steel' type. He also have lvl.20 'Voltorb' and lvl.22 'Magneton'. 'Magneton' is the most strongest pokemon of his team. In Emerald, 'Watson' has an extra lv. 22 'Electrike', a lv. 22 'Magneton' instead, and a lv. 24 'Manectric' as his strongest Pokemon. After you beat him, he will give you 'Dynamo Badge' and " TM-34 'Shock Wave' ". This badge will help you to use 'Rock Smash' outside the battle and will raise the speed of your pokemons. After getting what you came here for, you can head west onto Route 117.

'Route 117' At the very beginning of the route is a 'Daycare Centre'. Here you can keep your two pokemons with old woman. Here, the pokemon level increases in this 'Centre'. The lower the level, the fast it grows. There, old moves are deleted and new moves are learnt automatically. And all these things requires money. 100$ are required for each level of the pokemon. Now leave a pokemon if you want. 'Route 117' is pretty straight foward and short; just keep going west. Most of the people here are pacing around. On this route, you can have a two-on-two battle with two girls standing near the 'Berry' trees. Very soon, you'll arrive in 'Verdanturf Town'.

'Rusturf Cave' As you reach the 'Verdanturf Town', heal your pokemon first. Then, go into the cave at the top of the town. Battle the trainer and go towards north. Smash the rock there, talk to the person. He will give you ''HM-04 'Strength' '' and leave with the woman. Teach that to your pokemon, but you will be not able to use it for a while. Go towards west, and come out on 'Route 116'. Talk to the person in green disguise and he'll give you 'Repeat Ball'. Get back inside the cave to go to 'Verdanturf Town'.
'Contest House' There is nothing much to do in 'Verdanturf Town'. You'll observe a fancy building, just like the one in the previous city. It is 'Contest House'. In order to enter, first go inside and talk to the counter-lady. She'll give you a 'Contest Pass'. If you want to enter, choose 'Yes'. Select a pokemon you want to enter with, and take you to place full of trainers and spectators. In upper right hand corner is a lady who will give you "TM-45 'Attract' ". In Emerald, the 'Contest House' is replaced by 'Battle Tent' like the one in 'Slateport City'. Now leave and head towards next city. In order to get in the next citx, go back to 'Mauville City' and head up to 'Route 111'.

'Route 111, 112 and 113' Route 111 is a path with many stairs, and many dangers. The one of the dangers is at the peaceful house in the beginning. There is a man standing outside the house. Talk to him and he will battle you. After beating him, you think the battle is over? No! One by one all his family members come out and battle you. You'll have no time for restoring your pokemon's life. So be prepared. After you beat all four of them, go inside and talk to the mother on the upper right hand corner. She'll give you a 'Macho Brace'.

FIERY PATH
As you go forward, smash rocks there and you might want to have a two-on-two battle with a video crew. Eventually, you'll reach a desert with a raging sand storm. You won't be able to get through for now, so go west onto Route 112. You'll soon reach a cave with steam coming out everywhere. You'll be unable to push rock in the cave as you don't have the next gym badge. So go ahead and come out to the other side.
You're on the other side of the desert. Go up the mountain. You can only go up on a Bike, since the road is slippery. There are two ways to exit the mountain, one is North and the other is South. Battle the Blackbelt on top. There's a spot where you can heal you're Pokemon. On this part of Route 111, you'll see a guy facing the trees. Talk to him and he'll give you TM43 -SECRET POWER. Teach this to a Pokemon, it will allow you to use Secret Bases in mountains and the caves. At the top of the route is a little girl who'll give you a Berry.
You'll eventually go onto Route113. It appears that Volcanic Ash is floating on this route. As you walk past the ground, the grass turns grey as it is covered with ash. You'll bump on various things on the ground. Watch for the trainers hiding in the ash too.
Travelling on Route 113 you'll notice a little house. Go inside and talk to the man and he'll give you soothe sack. The person (who gives you Soothe Sack) makes glasses out of the ash. He tells you to collect ash with this item and then give it to him after you have enough of them. After you walk around 250 steps in the ashes, go to him to get 'Blue Flute' (an item to awake sleeping Pokemon). To the left of the house is another bump. This bump contains TM32 - DOUBLE TEAM, it a good TM move so get it. After travelling a lot, you'll find civilization in 'FALLARBOR TOWN'.
